These pages are dedicated to the memory of my parents, Lee Maynard Fairchild and Patricia Margaret Raphael. In addition to recording the ancestry of my siblings, their descendents and me these pages contain many records for those individuals with whom we share one or more common ancestors. The Fairchild male line is well documented in several sources and traces back to the English emigrant, Thomas Fairchild who arrived in this country some time before 1640. Lee's mother, Gladys Veretta Pratt comes from another well documented male ancestral line that traces back to the English national, Thomas Pratt, who died in England on 29 SEP 1616. To these two well documented lines, the ancestral lines of several other Fairchild spouses have been added to provide the records for more than 800 individuals covering a span of nearly four centuries.
